China developed stealth JET using American technology

It was the first time one of the “invisible” fighters had ever been hit. The Pentagon believed clever tactics and sheer luck with a Soviet-built SA-3 missile did the trick. The wreckage was strewn over flat farmlands, and civilians collected the parts — some the size of small cars — as souvenirs.
